We provide a range of one-to-one tutorials to develop your study skills in:

  • Academic writing

  • Critical reading and thinking skills

  • Note-making

  • Planning, drafting and editing assignments

  • Referencing and avoiding plagiarism

  • Strategies for improving proofreading skills

  • Improving revision and/or exam strategies

  • Any other academic related issues.

Your appointment will be with a Learning Development Adviser (LDA) - all of whom are qualified English teachers. Each tutorial usually last 30 minutes and needs to be booked in advance. There is no limit on the number of tutorials you can book. 

The tutorial is strictly confidential - we only keep records for monitoring purposes.
