Multimedia Technician
I’m one of the AV Support team and Helpdesk, and have completed the ‘Aston Certificate: An Introduction to Learning & Teaching in HE’.
I train and support users to become self-sufficient on Learning Technologies like PebblePad, BlackBoard and equipment like Visualisers. I also usually take bookings on Celcat for equipment and services to support teaching, and endeavour to keep our resources sustainable to minimise our carbon footprint.
Like many CLIPP staff I share my experiences on CLIPPboard, the CLIPP blog, and use the same technologies, especially PebblePad, myself whenever possible.
I’ve worked in ICT at Aston since 1988, and in HE since 1974. I contribute to Wellbeing and Sustainability directly though coordinating AstBUG, JUCC and Unite.
