Anne Wheeler - Director

Anne Wheeler
Anne joined Aston in May 2008 as Head of Curriculum and Learner Development from the University of Wolverhampton where she was a Senior Learning and Teaching Research Fellow in the Institute for Learning Enhancement. Anne became Director of CLIPP in April 2011. She works with the Student Guild, the Learning and Teaching champions within the Schools and staff across the University in innovative curriculum and learner development, and to build a dynamic and inspiring learning and teaching community that will capture and disseminate the enjoyment and benefits of innovation and good practice across the institution.

Steve Ellis - Associate Director

Steve joined Aston in 2005 after first applying his 20 years’ experience in the Broadcast industry to education as Director of a City Learning Centre on Merseyside. Since then he has overseen the technical upgrade of all pool teaching rooms and the wide scale application of centrally supported learning technologies across the institution. His current part-time role includes the operational management of CLIPP and the strategic development of effective technology enhanced learning spaces. Steve chairs the Learning Technologies Working Group and is on the Executive Board of the Standing Conference of Heads of Media Services (SCHOMS) and the British Universities Film & Video Council (BUFVC).
