Brief
To make a short
piece-to-camera by Helen Higson (Senior Pro-Vice –Chancellor, Aston University)
which would introduce learning resources, being made available as Open
Education Resources (OER) by Aston University.
Products
We shot the video in our
CLIPP Studios, with Helen standing in front of our bepoke Asto Uni-branded
backdrop and superimposed images and videos onto the screen alongside her, to
illustrate what she was talking about. No portaprompt scripting (Autocue) was
used; Helen was happy to just improvise her speech to keep it focussed, and the
editing and delivery was very quick as a result. We filmed Helen (in one
take) against our backdrop screen in the CLIPP studio and superimposed clips
from the video content and stills from the textual, hard copy material
alongside her in post-production.
