Aston Idol 2011

Brief

We were asked to make a video record of the 2011 Aston Idol event, to complement the still-in-use 2010 video. This time, we decided to shoot it from the perspective of the Aston Idol judges and show the process through their eyes – the pitches, the interrogations, the deliberations and how they came to award the prizes to the winners. It followed a similar format to Aston Idol 2010, in that it was comprised of interviews and then layered with shots taken throughout the day, of the judging and awards ceremony.

The video was delivered to be uploaded onto the Careers Service YouTube Channel as an addition to the 2010 video, not a replacement.
