Brief
The Aston Business School MSc Programme approached us to make them a series of videos which would do the same job as last year’s highly successful films for the MBA Programme. The videos should emphasise the benefits of an Aston educational experience, from the friendly welcome international students receive to the excellent prospects that a career enhanced by an Aston Business School MSc can offer. The videos were primarily intended to be sited on the MSc programme’s web pages but we also created a DVD menu that successfully integrated the videos into an existing marketing style.
Media
We combined interviews with the new Head of the School and key tutors and support staff with exciting shots of students in varying stages of their course; from learning and socialising to careers support and graduation. Plenty of students were vox-popped for this project (to add real life experience to the on-screen prospectus information) and their comments woven into the videos to the maximum effect.
Product
The videos have a strong promotional feel to them without sacrificing the information that students require to consider applying to Aston. They are glossy and slick (thanks to tight scripting and editing) without sacrificing substance for style.
