Brief
We were asked to make a
video which introduced the services provided by the newly-built Aston Brain
Centre (ABC) to medical colleagues and the public alike. It was also to
celebrate the 50th anniversary of Aston University’s Clinical
Neurophysiology Unit and the 40th anniversary of its Dyslexia &
Developmental Unit. We were to use archive footage of the equipment and labs
which were still in use in the ABC, and film new material in the brand new
building, with its new equipment. This was to work without sync sound (so that
it could play on mute in the ABC’s open reception areas) and so we relied on
good, strong images and text information.

The video was shown on the
day of the official opening and will be shown on the ABC’s own screens, as well
as uploaded to its website.
