Visual display devises are permanently installed in two meeting rooms within the main building - G39 has a 42” LCD TV screen and G8 a fixed data projector and pull down screen.
G39 is equipped with video conferencing facilities and a laptop connection point installed in the equipment cupboard in the corner of the room. Bookings for this room and the video conferencing facilities must be made via Lesley Smith in the Executive Office on ext 4793 or via email.
G8 has an installed PC and a laptop connection point. The data projector can he turned on and off and the relevant input selected from the control panel on the desk at the front of the room. Bookings for G8 should be made through Ifty Khan in Registry and Planning on ext 4667 or via email.
Both rooms are equipped with amplified speakers to allow playback of audio and video material directly from a laptop. Volume can be adjusted using the controls on the LCD TV in G39 and the control panel in G8
Staff are encouraged to use these rooms and their own laptops for presentations whenever possible to release AV resources for teaching purposes.
