Media & Learning Technologies provides access to an extended range of technical resources, support services, expertise and professional production skills for all teaching staff.
Technical support now encompasses a wide range of technologies including Optivote (electronic learner response) and Aston Replay (lecture capture) systems available for teaching staff to pilot over the course of the academic year. The number of digital visualisers and interactive panels in pool rooms continues to increase and the effective use of these and other technologies available on campus is monitored by the Learning Technologies Working Group which will also assess emerging technical opportunities and share best practice across the university teaching community.
MLT's professional video and audio production, animation, graphics and web design facilities are available through CLIPP for the creation of media rich learning materials.
