As part of the series of Learning & Teaching events being staged throughout 2012, there will be session on e-classrooms using the Elluminate/Blackboard Collaborate platform.
David Pollard and Severine Hubscher-Davidson (LSS) will present lessons learned from running an international conference in Elluminate and Richard Terry (ABS) will discuss the Lafarge virtual classroom experience and talk about the flexibility of the tool for facilitating virtual meetings. The session will conclude with a brief demonstration of the new features available in the Collaborate suite which will replace Elluminate in the next academic year.
The event will take place on Friday 27th April 1pm – 2pm in SW309.
