What is Clearing?

If, after A Level results day, you have not managed to secure a place at university, Clearing is your opportunity to do so. Every year over 30,000 people find a university place through Clearing.

Am I eligible for Clearing?

You are eligible for Clearing if:

  • You applied through UCAS, but have not received an offer of a place at University.
  • You applied through UCAS, but declined all places offered to you.
  • You didn’t apply through UCAS, or missed the application deadline, but would still like a University place starting in the current year.
