Careers Events

Throughout the year, the Careers Centre organises a number of events at which employers, students and graduates meet. The events are run in various formats to suit your and the students needs (explained below).  Involvement in the events will allow you to raise the profile of your organisation, publicise your recruitment requirements and application procedure and ultimately recruit high calibre quality students and graduates to join your organisation.  

We advise all employers to advertise your opportunities via Aston Futures.

Employer Drop-In Sessions

Drop Ins (£150 + VAT booking fee)                                                                     

Drop-Ins allow employers to pitch up in a prominent area on campus and speak to passing student traffic about recruitment opportunities.  These are held  12 – 2pm Mon, Tuesday or Thursday from October through to end of November, February to mid March, located in the Main Building Entrance.

NGRE, NEC, Birmingham. 3-4th June and 28-29th October 2011

National Graduate Recruitment Exhibition, NEC Birmingham                       

We co-host two National Graduate Recruitment Exhibitions (NGRE) at the NEC In June and October.  NGRE is one of the largest graduate recutiment events in the UK and is well attended by students from Aston and other higher education institutions.                                             

The next exhibition will be held on 2 and 3 November 2012
