Cora Lynn Heimer Rathbone

Cora Lynn joins Aston Business School having worked as an Executive Development Director at the Cranfield School of Management’s Centre for Customised Executive Development since 2002. Whilst at Cranfield, Cora Lynn won and directed customised commissions, working collaboratively with board directors, the management ranks and internal HR teams to design and deliver transformational interventions. As an executive coach, she coaches individuals in pursuit of dynamic organisational development. Her clients have included: L’Oréal, Oracle, EDF Groupe, BNFL, France Telecom Orange, Mobinil, Virgin Mobile, Stuart Milne Group and MacIntyre Care.

A management consultant since 1984, Cora Lynn has facilitated numerous C-suites strategy sessions. She led her strategic management development consultancy between 1990 and 2002. During that time she was also Operations Director for an association of independent Quality Award winning IBM computer dealerships and Product Development Director for a training organisation.

Cora Lynn is published on business planning and is a specialist in pragmatic strategy, strategy implementation, the process of leadership and the design of management development interventions.

Following her MBA, Cora Lynn qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant within a subsidiary of Burmah Oil, starting as Financial Analyst and moving within two years to Group Business Planning Officer.

Born in Cuba, Cora Lynn has lived in the US Virgin Islands, Brazil, the USA, France and England. Multilingual and cross-cultural, she is a proven programme director, experienced at influencing board level change and adding measurable bottom-line value to corporates in the UK, Europe and Latin America.
