Aston Centre for Project Management Practice (CPMP)

The Centre for Project Management Practice (CPMP) was created to promote knowledge sharing by exposing project management practitioners and researchers to each other's experiences, concerns and expertise.

By engaging with the Centre, practitioners have gained access to the world’s best practice in project management through Aston researchers, as well as been given a chance to develop further crucial project  management skills in the regional workforce and beyond.

The centre has also helped in the creation of The TRANSFORMATION Project, which is funded by the ESRC until September 2010. The main focus of this project is to take existing theory about project management practice and change management to create a suite of management tools to improve project and organisational performance.
