UK Servitization Summit for Industry 2013

This event will deliver insights into manufacturers that lead through their advanced services, summarising their strategies and the challenges and benefits they deliver. This summit is an opportunity to both learn about and shape the adoption of servitization in the UK.

A targeted programme which runs on two days, one or two week aparts, to take you through a review of your company's competitive strategy, explore how servitization could make your company more competitive and help to lock out your competitors, and guide you in developing an action plan for change.

  • Day 1 (am) – Competitive Strategy – understanding how companies compete

  • Day 1 (pm) – Strategic Practices – looking at the ways in which your company could compete

  • Day 2 (am) – Strategy Formulation – deciding upon a strategy for your business

  • Day 2 (pm) – Strategy Deployment – developing an action plan

At the end of the second day, you will have chosen a services-led competitive strategy for your business, developed a plan of action, and have an understanding of how to go about your chosen change initiatives.

After the workshop you will have access to ongoing support on a one-to-one basis, and through our special interest groups which bring in industry experts to help businesses to overcome barriers to change.

Eligibility: Your company must be a manufacturer based  in the West Midlands, and meet the definition of an SME.

The support is free, but you must commit to attending both days of the programme to be eligible.
