Technology and operations management group members research issues in manufacturing and service industries of developed and developing countries. Their collective research interest includes technology transfer, production system design, new product and service development, project portfolio management, operational and project risk management, logistics and supply chain management, business process simulation, discrete-event simulation modeling for process improvement, inter-company management of enterprises, partnership, group technology, cellular manufacturing, distributed manufacturing resource planning, optimizing PCB assembly, quality and reliability management, advanced manufacturing technology management, benchmarking and performance management.
Notable prizes for Technology & Operations Management include IAMOT recognizing our research quality with its international excellence award in 2005.
