Dr. Roser Beneito-Montagut is a Research Fellow on the D2.0 project specialising in social media and qualitative research. Her current research interests include the use of social media before, during and after disasters; how institutions and organisations use web 2.0 tools and applications to manage and strengthen resilience to disasters; mediated interpersonal communication; emotional communication online and qualitative developments in social media research. She holds a PhD in Fine Arts, an MRes in Sociology, an MSc in Multimedia, a BA in Communication and a BA in Fine Arts.
