Operations & Information Management

Using strong public and private sector links, members of the Operations & Information Management (OIM) Group continuously apply theoretical developments to support the practice of effective decision making in extremely complex environments as well as using those opportunities to create new waves of theoretical knowledge. Examples of recent research projects show this breadth of applied research.

OIM staff regularly work on consulting and research projects with local businesses as well as blue-chip global clientele and UK/international government bodies - helping them to understand, make and implement decisions. Examples include: Guardian Lock (Birmingham), United Nations, AstraZeneca, BAE Systems, Health and Safety Executive (UK) and Department for Education and Skills.
