Aston Business School Research Ethics Guidelines and Processes

pic

The primary role of our University and School Research Ethics Committees is to protect the dignities, rights and welfare of research participants, giving due regard to the consequences of the proposed research for others directly affected by it and to the interests of those who do not take part in the research but who might benefit, or suffer, from its outcomes in the future.

Research proposals are reviewed in terms of their ethical probity, and the information and guidance within these webpages are to support consideration and reflection on the possible direct and indirect consequences of your proposed research.
