The recently established Centre for Performance Measurement and
Management brings together an interdisciplinary group of researchers at
Aston Business School with research, consulting, and/or teaching
interests related to performance measurement and management.
The
Centre’s members are drawn from Management Science (
Giuliana Battisti,
Ozren Despic,
Gary Simpson,
Emmanuel Thanassoulis), Economics and Strategy (
Monica Giulietti,
Michael Henry,
David Saal,
Vania Sena), and the Finance, Accounting, and Law Group (
Stan Brignall,
Stuart Cooper).
Finally a number
of PhD research students (currently 6) who are researching in the area covered
by the centre also form an important part of the community that the centre
brings together. This creates a substantial community with overlapping research
interests to varying extents offering mutual support.
