Partnership through Teams
We are committed to co-production research methods and building a partnership between leading academics and practitioners. Diverse research teams have the expertise and experience to tackle complex issues.
If you are an academic, you can discuss your research interests with a faculty member listed on the CICR Members page and will be delighted to hear from you.
If you are a practitioner, there are two principal ways in which individuals, project teams and organisations can work with us.
We are happy to discuss an entirely new piece of research and other possibilities with you. Please contact the CICR Director, Dr. Michael JR Butler, to let us know your requirements. see the Contact Us page.
For organisational development or training, using research-based methods and tools, please contact The TRANSFORMATION Project, again via Michael.
Much of our research is conducted in conjunction with, and used by, national organisations, including for example research councils, government departments and the private sector:
- Economic and Social Research Council
- Department of Health Policy Research Programme
- Vauxhall (General Motors)
We believe strongly in collaborative and multi-disciplinary research, which leads to primary research, reports and papers. For research projects finishing in 2011, we worked with the following university departments or research centres:
- University of Birmingham
- University of Gloucestershire
- University of Leicester
- University of London
- University of Nottingham
- University of Sheffield
- Real World Group/Bradford University
