Academics associated with Aston India Foundation actively use their research evidence to support their teaching. Colleagues at the Business School in particular use such evidence to highlight the relevance (or not) of theoretical approaches to places like India. Professor Pawan Budhwar regularly uses evidence from his research projects to teach international management and International HRM modules. Similarly, Prasanta Dey works with local companies to advice them based on his research regarding how to manage projects in the Indian context.

Kirit uses evidence from his research on comparison of capability development in industrial sectors between China and India in his teaching at Aston and has presented seminars at IIM Ahmadabad and the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research near Mumbai.

Also, academics at the India Foundation have written books related to India and regularly publish their research in top journals, which directly influences teaching not only at Aston but also globally.
