Aston Business School considers a wide range of international qualifications and international access and foundation programmes. In order to gain admission to Aston Business School you must satisfy English Language and Academic requirements.

We want to ensure that you do well in your studies and look for evidence of competence in written and spoken English Language.
For our Single Honours Degree Programmes, we look for:
IELTS
- An overall IELTS score of 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each test)
TOEFL
IELTS
- An overall IELTS score of 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.0 in each test)
TOEFL
- Internet-based Test 71 (minimum of 17 in each section)

Degree level entry
Students must have graduated from High School (3 years of study) with a minimum of 80% in each subject. In order to be considered for first year entry, they must have studied for 1-2 years at a recognised Chinese University, and have achieved good grades in relevant subjects.
Students must also have a relevant English Language qualification.
Students who are studying on an International Foundation Year through the Northern Consortium (NCUK) must achieve subjects grades ABB and achieve a minimum of grade B in English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
If you are studying A Levels, we will accept Chinese as one of the three subjects required to total 340 UCAS Tariff points.
International Foundation Programme
Students must have graduated from High School (3 years of study) with a minimum of 80% in each subject. Students must also be a minimum age of 18.
Students must also have a relevant English Language qualification.
Degree Level Entry
Students must achieve grades C or above in their HKCEE qualifications. Students must also achieve grades ABB in their HKALE qualifications.
Students must also have a relevant English Language qualification.
Degree Level Entry
Students are required to have good Standard X examination results, particularly in Mathematics. They are also required to have a minimum score in their Standard XII exams – depending on the examinations board they studied under:
- State Board: 85%+
- CBSE and ISCE Boards: 80%+
- West Bengal Board: 70%+
Students must also have a relevant English Language qualification, but if they have achieved a minimum of 75% in their Class 12 examinations for English Language, the requirement may be waived.
Degree Level Entry
Students are required to obtain 3.0 GPA in the HND, along with good high school qualifications.
International Foundation Programme
For the International Foundation Programme they must have obtained an average of grade Bs in the WAEC.
Degree Level Entry
Students must achieve Credits and Distinctions in their Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (‘O’ Level). They must also gain grades ABB in their ‘A’ Levels.
Students must also have a relevant English Language qualification.
Degree Level Entry
Students must satisfy all three of the following criteria:
1. Successfully complete the US High School Graduation Diploma.
2. Achieve an ACT Composite Score of at least 27 OR a minimum score of 1800 in the SAT Reasoning Tests (600 in each section).
3. Achieve grades 5,5,4 – 5,5,5 in three Group A subjects in the Advanced Placement tests OR a 600 in three SAT Subject Tests.
Applicants applying for entry into Year 2 will be considered on an individual basis. Generally there should be a good match of subjects to Year 1 of our business degrees.
