This is a structured research degree allowing the student to undertake an important piece of research but within a more contained framework than with in PhD/MPhil Degrees. Students take the Research Methods Course plus one Masters taught module before working on their research projects. It is possible for students to transfer onto the Doctoral Programme, upon satisfactory completion of the Qualifying Report, if this becomes appropriate.
The MSc in Management Research is examined by presentation of a dissertation. As with the PhD, external registration is possible and the research programme is available by Distance Learning Mode. However, Students will be required to attend the University to participate in some of the modules of the Research Methods Course. Two of the modules require the student to be resident at the University for a period of one week.
Further information on all these courses is available from the Director of the Research Degrees Programme (Professor Samuel Aryee), or the Research Programme Administrator (Jeanette Ikuomola).
