For the 2013/14 Programme, Aston Business School are offering a number of MBA Scholarships which range from £1,000 - £5,500. These Scholarships are available for self-funded applicants only.
A 20% discount on fees is available for all graduates of Aston University on all MBA Programmes.
We offer scholarships on a rolling basis to qualifying applicants to help with the cost of tuition fees in the following geographic areas:

This scholarship is based on an evaluation of the applicant’s career history, academic ability, merit and potential as an MBA student. The award of this scholarship will be based on the application form, supporting documents and interview. These Scholarships are available for self –funded applicants only.
Up to the value of £5,500
Applicants for this scholarship need to demonstrate self-awareness and leadership skills. To apply for this scholarship the applicant should prepare a three page PowerPoint presentation showing:
- an example of your leadership qualities
- a clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses as a leader
- how the Aston MBA may be able to help your leadership development
The award of this scholarship will be based on the presentation of the slides at interview. These Scholarships are available for self-funded applicants only.
All applicants with a GMAT score of 680 and above will automatically be considered for this Scholarship.
Up to the value of £5,500
The Merit Scholarship is awarded based on your need for financial aid to help with the tuition fee of the Aston MBA. To apply for this scholarship prepare a two page PowerPoint presentation showing:
- your reason for needing financial support
- how the Aston MBA may help your leadership development
The award of this scholarship will be based on the presentation of the slides at interview. These Scholarships are available for self-funded applicants only.
Up to the value of £5,000
Up to 10 scholarships are available to applicants exclusively from African countries as listed by the UN through the Ferguson Trust Scholarship. We offer a scholarship of £5,000 for qualifying applicants towards the payment of their tuition fees. These Scholarships are available for self-funded applicants only.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Scholarship
Up to 10 scholarships available up to the value of £5,500
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Scholarship is awarded to MBA students who demonstrate either past experience or future interest towards, entrepreneurship, innovation, and/or business enterprise. This scholarship is ideal for MBA students who either plan to start-up businesses or lead business organisations forward making them more sustainable. To apply for this scholarship prepare a three page PowerPoint presentation showing:
- Past innovation, business enterprise, and or entrepreneurial experience
- A clear understanding of the challenges to business enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation
- How the Aston MBA will help you reach your future entrepreneurial goals
The award of this scholarship will be based on the presentation of the slides at interview. These Scholarships are available for self-funded applicants only.
