And that of those around you? Executive Development is a holistic process enabling you to transform your business and personal thinking from the roots up. It turns an often thwarted desire for change into something that is coherent and achievable.

We will develop your ability to perform mentally and physically under pressure, preparing you - mind, body and spirit - to drive improvements in personal and team success. Performance philosophy permeates the whole programme, challenging you to move beyond your existing boundaries and develop true agility.
Altogether different by design
At the core of the Aston Executive MBA (EMBA) programme is developing the ability to perform mentally, physically and mindfully under pressure to solve challenging situations.
Our EMBA is an action-oriented programme designed around performance; learning and transformation. Our aim is to support your development as an 'agile executive': an adaptive, responsible executive who has the ability to perform, engage and lead others through ambiguous, complex and fast-changing global situations.
The EMBA is designed to help you become more global, strategic, leadership-focused. And, to make you think differently, we embrace a holistic approach: exploring body, mind and spirit. Our candidates will combine cutting-edge business thinking with core nutritional, fitness and meditation regimes to engage the whole self. This novel component of the programme has been designed to be original, different, creative and bold while also being pragmatic, providing real and instantly usable tools that you can apply in the workplace

About John Peters - Director of Performance for the Aston Executive MBA
A unique EMBA calls for unique perspectives on leadership. John leads on the delivery of the executive development component of the EMBA. John came to the world's attention in January 1991, when, as a captured RAF pilot during the first Iraqi war, his bruised and battered face flashed onto television screens around the world. John has an international reputation as a compelling motivational speaker and specialises in a strongly experiential approach to leadership development, team building and communication. His clients include MTV, John Lewis, Oxfam, Barclays Bank, Channel 5 and The Cabinet Office. He has written two best-selling books and his film, Tornado Down, was nominated for a BAFTA Award. John is the former Chair of the Association of MBAs. His take on leadership under difficult circumstances gives our EMBA candidates the edge in positioning themselves as agile, capable, informed leaders ready to excel in any situation.
