MBA Full-time (Class of 2008)
“I have a first degree in Banking/Finance and worked for six years
in commercial banks in Nigeria. Most of my career has been spent in the
Treasury Departments.
I wanted to study in a big city but not in London, therefore
Birmingham was perfect. I chose Aston Business School because of its
reputation, the structure of its MBA programme and its location. I was
particularly attracted by the Aston MBA slogan “Take on the world”.
The experience and insights gained from working in syndicate groups
with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures has enabled me
to hone my interpersonal skills in an international setting. The
lectures are such that you can relate sessions to real life situations.
I know I’m gaining real practical knowledge that will be essential
in the next stage of my career.
Studying for an MBA is definitely an investment worth making, you start reaping the returns from day one.
After I complete my MBA this year, I plan to work towards a career in International Business.”
