Aston Business School students enjoyed double the celebrations as, following on from the University
graduation ceremonies in July, the top 10% achievers received membership for Beta Gamma Sigma.
Beta Gamma Sigma is an honour society, recognising the outstanding achievements of business students across the world.
Students were joined by family and friends to celebrate their achievements in a ceremony led by Professor Michael West, Executive Dean of the Business School, and Professor Helen Higson, Pro-Vice Chancellor for External Relations. During the ceremony students formally accepted membership and the principles of Beta Gamma Sigma: Honour, Wisdom and Enthusiasm.
Aston Business School joined Beta Gamma Sigma in 2005 as the first UK
university to be associated with honour society, and has since inducted
almost 700 members.
