On
Tuesday 10th February 2009 Aston
Business School
held an event in the MBA Lounge in the Aston Business
School building.
Beta
Gamma Sigma is recognized throughout the business world as the leading honour
society for business and management education. Aston
Business School
is currently the only Business School in the UK to be part of Beta Gamma Sigma.
The purpose
of Founders’ Day is for each chapter to participate
in helping to raise awareness of Beta Gamma Sigma on campus, to business
students, and throughout the community.
BGS
members and MBA students were invited to the event as well as local companies.
Professor
West, Executive Dean of the Business
School and BGS Chapter
President, gave a speech, welcoming guests and providing information about Beta
Gamma Sigma.
The
evening was a great success; all guests enjoyed the networking opportunities.
It fulfilled its purpose to raise awareness and answer questions about Beta
Gamma Sigma.
