Quality Management Is Not Dead

New research from Aston Business School in Birmingham has discovered that in the UK over the past 5 years 87 percent of UK businesses have initiated quality management initiatives.

Operations and Information Management researcher Peter Burcher said “We were delighted to discover such a high interest in quality by UK businesses. I believe this indicates that TQM (Total Quality Management) is alive and kicking. The research showed that companies are applying tried and tested TQM methods.”

Comparative research is now being conducted in Australia, India and the USA.
