Robert Goddard
Senior Lecturer in Law, Aston Business School
Robert blogs on corporate law and governance.
Robert has degrees in accountancy and law and teaches across the
Business School on undergraduate and postgraduate courses including
company law, taxation, corporate governance and law of financial
regulation. His primary research interests are in company law and
corporate governance and he contributes to
OUP's Annotated Companies
Legislation, one of the leading works on the
Companies Act (2006).
His blog developed from a monthly e-mail newsletter he distributed to
colleagues and students soon after joining Aston. Robert's blog
supports his teaching and research by providing a record of recent
developments and access to important primary materials from the UK and
beyond. In 2010 his blog was one of the
LexisNexis Top
25 Business Law Blogs of 2010 and was also praised in
an article on legal
blogs in
Legal Week.
