An Aston design student has been awarded a commendation for his innovative website design at the annual Design & Art Direction (D&AD) Awards in London last month.
Aston University graduate Lloyd Pitt, designed a brand-new interactive design for the BBC in the competition, which received over 3000 entrants. His commendation in the category of Microsite Design earned him a prize fund of £250 and graduate membership of the D&AD.
The D&AD Student awards is an international competition with the final nominees in the top 2% of entries from design graduates around the world, displaying another great achievement for the Design and Engineering department at Aston University.
The D&AD (Design & Art Direction) is an international body of creative commercial professionals and has a reputation for high quality and innovation.
