Quality experience for Aston students
TWO subject areas at Aston University in Birmingham have practically topped a national poll of universities for the quality of their undergraduate student experience.
Pharmacy was ranked second and Chemical Engineering was ranked third in the UK in league tables published this week by The Guardian newspaper.
The tables are compiled in association with The Guardian by Campus Pi, an applied research department at Brunel University. The rankings are put together from official information published on universities and higher education colleges. The scores are derived from figures published or provided by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).
The courses have been rated for factors including undergraduate teaching (including the number of staff and spend per student), entry qualifications, student destinations after employment and inclusivity.
