Youth Entrepreneurship

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor report for 2010 shows that there is a high level of youth entrepreneurship i.e. amongst 18 to 24 year olds in the city of Birmingham.   This is higher than the national average, and reflects the diversity of the city and the support available to graduate entrepreneurs form the city’s universities.

Today, we will be focussing on Youth Entrepreneurship and exploring what motivates young people to start a business.

She now has her own dance group Identity Dance Collective who have performed at events across Birmingham. She was also shortlisted for a Champion of Change Award (Unltd) in the Social Entrepreneur of the Year category in 2011.
