Getting involved in Global Entrepreneurship Week 2011

Research conducted by Aston Business School has shown the impact that Global Entrepreneurship Week can have.  As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) survey for the UK, Aston Business School questions participants about their awareness of the week and their subsequent attitudes to starting their own business.  The GEM report findings show that year on year more people are becoming aware of Global Entrepreneurship Week, and those that get involved by taking part in activities are more likely to go on to start their own business.

Here at Aston we are celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week through a mixture of on campus events, interviews with budding entrepreneurs and business experts and by starting conversations locally, nationally and internationally via social media.

Professor Mark Hart talks about the impact of Global Entrepreneurship Week and the benefits of getting involved.
