Aston University is supporting Global Entrepreneurship Week 2011 (14-20 November) a national conversation about entrepreneurship which will help to connect people, share ideas and explore regional issues to drive the next generation of business owners.
Aston University has a long history of supporting entrepreneurs. Through our renowned placement programme and close links with business we endeavour to develop the entrepreneurial mind set of our students and graduates.
Entrepreneurship and small business research is also a key strength within Aston Business School. Under the leadership of Professor Mark Hart, Aston Business School manages the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) for the UK, the largest and most comprehensive research study, globally, of entrepreneurial attitudes, activities and aspirations.
