Aston University has a transformational culture that not only supports graduates to find suitable jobs, but also provides an environment which promotes student enterprise and graduate entrepreneurship. The University organises a range of workshops and competitions to enhance the enterprise skills of students and graduates, helping them to generate ideas and offer guidance with pitching skills and business plan writing. Enterprise is also embedded across Aston’s curriculum.
For the third year running Aston will be supporting Global Entrepreneurship Week , a practical week which enables individuals to learn more about the wealth of support that is available to entrepreneurs in the UK. It also helps to connect people, share ideas and explore issues in order to drive the next generation of business owners.
Take a step forward
This year’s theme is ‘Take a step forward’ which should encourage current and future entrepreneurs to take a step forward in their plans such as starting a new business, taking more opportunities or simply learning more about how to grow their enterprise.
This year, Global Entrepreneurship Week will also celebrate its 10th anniversary. Aston University encourages you to take a step forward during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013 by getting involved in our events and activities.
