Fashion show

For World Environment Day in June 2009, Aston University hosted a Fashion show celebrating ethical clothing. Events were held throughout the day, including a clothes swap and masterclasses. Photos of the show are available on Flickr.

Friday 5th June 2009

2pm - Come along and drop off your clothes for the clothes swap at the Guild Hall.

4pm - Clothes swap opens: get in first to have the best pick of all the clothes.
        - Activities kick off: a beauty masterclass from The Body Shop and a sewing workshop with tips on making and customising your own clothes.

7pm - The Catwalk Show: come and see your friends strutting their stuff on the runway and take a look at a range of vintage, reworked and ethical clothing.

8pm to 11pm - After show party: the bar opens, DJ keeps playing and clothes and jewellery stands will open so you've got a chance to buy some of the pieces from the show.
