Visitor Parking

Our Birmingham city centre location means there is high demand for visitor parking on campus. We regret that parking is not available on campus itself for open days and other day-time events. Please contact the person organising your visit or event if you require a disabled car parking space or to see if any individual spaces are available.

There are alternative pay car parks nearby within 5 minutes walk of the campus. We also recommend that visitors use public transport where possible, as Birmingham city centre is within easy reach of many parts of the UK and the region.

Millennium Point car park

The Millennium Point/Think-Tank Museum Multi Storey car park is approximately five minutes walk from the Aston University Main Building, and marked on our campus map. This is a new car park opened in May 2011 across the road (Jennens' Road) from Aston University. Access to this pay car park is via Jennens' Road.

How to walk to campus from Millennium Point Multi Storey Car Park

After parking your car follow pedestrian signs for Thinktank/Millennium Point on level 2 of the car park. On exiting the car park building turn right and walk up the slight slope. You do not need to enter the Millennium Point/Thinktank building.

Keep walking up the slope towards the new Aston University campus residences (bright red and grey buildings across Jennens' Road with a large Aston University sign) and cross Jennens Road by the Pelican crossing

Turn left and then immediately right along the boulevard and keep walking towards the Main Building which has a large clock and Aston University sign on the side. Main Reception is to the right of the clock.
